    1. Correction:
CLIL originates in Europe. It is meant to teach people English as a complement along the common school subjects (e.g. English+Math, English+Literature, English+Biology). How CLIL's syllabus is used depends on the level and age of students. CLIL is more concerned with the understanding of materials rather than the context.

For example: the use of English to learn Mathematics and its vocabulary for later use in life, or training course that teach the mannerisms and keywords for bussinesses.

CBI, on the other hand, is more focused on integrating foreigners to another-language-speaking society where they can interact with people and make a living. It centers around the development of language content rather than specific needs, and it teaches language in more meaningful contexts.

For example: how to cook French cuisine. In this case, learners will understand how to cook meals of French origin while they listen to the key words. Here, language is NOT the focus, only the tool to reach a goal.
